REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE: Field visits to renowned hospitals will cover the practical approach through endorsing operational excellence, process management, and efficient resource management, which serve as a key foundation for managing reputable and prosperous healthcare organizations.

Over a 20-24 weeks internship period, you will get hands-on experience at a leading healthcare organization to learn how the healthcare industry works.

• WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF A CAREER IN HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT?

  India is witnessing immense growth in its healthcare sectors and post-COVID this has only ramped up. A common myth is that hospitals are only run by doctors and nurses; but the reality is that it runs with the help of a professional workforce - the Healthcare / hospital management professionals, who work behind the scenes. They are responsible for planning, supervising, directing, and coordinating healthcare services. This makes the healthcare sector one of the leading employers in the country.

• DO I REQUIRE SCIENCE BACKGROUND FOR HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT?

  No. This is a management course, hence students from all fields of study can opt for this programme. This is not a clinical course, hence one would not be studying patient care related subjects that involve knowledge of biological sciences.

• WHAT KIND OF CAREER PATHWAYS ARE AVAILABLE AFTER PURSUING BBA IN HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT?
