Debajyoti has been actively involved in both academic and administrative roles at Salesian College (Autonomous), Siliguri, for the past four years. During this time, he contributed significantly to the IQAC and later took on responsibilities related to IT coordination, in addition to his teaching duties. He is keen to advance his career in academia and is preparing to begin his research work. He also plans to pursue an M.Tech. degree.
Interested in teaching topics related to Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science etc.
Attended a 2-day Faculty Planning Meet organised by IQAC, Salesian College (Autonomous), facilitated by Prof Binu Thomas, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Applications, Marian College, Kuttikkanam on June 27 and 28, 2025.
Presented a paper on the topic “Enhancing Generative AI: The Role of Prompt Engineering and Ethical Considerations” in a National Research Scholars’ Conference on “Siliguri: A Historical, Geo-Political, Socio-economic, and Ethno-cultural Matrix” organised by Research Centre in collaboration with IQAC, Salesian College (Autonomous) Siliguri.
Attended a 3-hours workshop on “ChatGPT and AI hacks with MS Office” by Skill Nation on August 29, 2024.
Attended a workshop on use of “AI and Google Tools in Education” by Skill Nation on August 21, 2024.
Attended a two-day workshop on “Training of Trainers (21st Century Employability Skills) by the Wadhwani Foundation in association with DBHEI and BoscoSoft at Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesiya Campus on May 1 and 2, 2024.”
Was the Co-convener in the 2-days AQAR Training Workshop for the newly recruited faculty members organized by IQAC, Salesian College, Siliguri Campus on November 11 and 12, 2022.
