Quality assurance of education has become a major issue drawing attention of one and all. In the field of education, the focus of students may be the facilities provided, of teacher on the teaching/learning process, of management on the scores or grade achieved and of prospective employer on the nature of the output. In highly competitive environment, only producing the best that is available can attract the students. Education like any other form of services must also be responsive to the society that supports it. A teacher is a role model, inspirer, motivator, counselor and mentor. He should constantly guide students in overcoming their difficulties and provide feedback to them to improve themselves for brightening their future. As for students very important aspects that a student should cultivate right from the childhood are logical and analytical skills and he should learn to be rational and be scientific and systematic in his approach.

Now-a-days power of knowledge has become the cutting edge between the success and failures. The society demands ‘wisdom workers’. It thus makes imperative for the students not only to seek knowledge about various fields but also to focus it with their superior mind and sense of values. A student should also be responsive to the environmental changes.

IIAS places great emphasis on academic quality of its Undergraduate and Post Graduate fulltime Diploma programmes and special certificate courses conducted at its different centres in the country and with this end in view, it has devised suitable academic monitoring systems. While students’ feedback which are obtained at regular intervals, are accorded utmost importance to make continuous improvements in teaching and learning process, the system of giving feedback to the guardians at regular intervals about the performance and shortcomings, if any, of their wards gives an opportunity to them to know the level of their attainments and to take corrective action to make good the deficiencies, if any, before it is too late. 

IIAS is the approved Learning Centres of the different UGC recognized universities and has collaboration with a number of international universities for Degree programmes in addition to IIAS’s prestigious Undergraduate and Post Graduate Full time Diploma Programmes (ISO 9001-2000 accredited) in Hotel & Tourism Management and Business & Entrepreneurship Management. IIAS programmes are rated very high in industry.

IIAS's Quality Assurance Scheme prescribes Students' performance appraisal including monitoring attendance and punctuality, Lesson Plan audit, Staff self-appraisal and review, students' feedback, teacher-students-parents interaction on regular basis.
