Course Contents

 
Principles of Management, Quantitative Methods, Fundamentals of Computers, Accounting, Business Law, Total Quality Management, Business Communication, Introduction to Retailing, Store Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Retail Buying and Merchandising1 Year Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management Skills Students enrolled to the Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management Skills may simultaneously enroll to the Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management programme under the Directorate of Distance Education of Madurai Kamaraj University recognized by Distance Education Council, New Delhi and UGC under MHRD, Govt. of India.

At the end of 1 year successful students will be awarded certificate in Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management Skills from Department of Business Management of IIAS School of Management.

Students shall appear for the University examinations to be conducted by DDE, Madurai Kamaraj University leading to award of Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management to successful students. Student enrolling for Post Graduate Diploma programme under DDE, Madurai Kamaraj University will be guided by the rules and regulations of the university

Total Fee payable to IIAS for 1 year: Rs. 90,000 (payable in installments)
At the end of the 12 months, successful students will be awarded certificate in Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management Skills from Department of Business Management. Students may also opt for dual qualifications (PG programme from IIAS and PG Diploma from Madurai Kamaraj University) by paying the requisite University fee*. Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management will be awarded by the Directorate of Distance Education of Madurai Kamaraj University. [* See University Fee]
