THE INSTITUTE
The institute (IIAS Dehradun) is located in a congenial environ of Selaqui Institutional area, and surrounded by 300 Industries and number of reputed Schools & Institutions like Selaqui World School, Hopetown School, Indian Public School, Shivalik Academy etc. The campus boasts of state-of-art architectural facilities as well as a sprawling green environment creating a unique blend of the most stimulating conditions necessary for academic excellence.
IIAS Dehradun, being a product of parent organization 'IIAS Charitable Trust', a social & charitable organization, committed to inculcate a holistic and practical macro-view approach among the students, was established by IIAS Group of Institutions owning its six branches across the country. The group was formed in 1990 with a view to make a significant contribution to education, create & shape resources for industry in the form of professionals whose endeavor shall integrate with the aim of the group in its odyssey towards nation building.

Dehradun is the interim capital of newly formed Himaliyan State of
Uttranchal, the religious town of Rishikesh; the queen of hills
– Mussoori; the quiet Chakrata hills and Rajaji National park
lies in this district. The city lies in a wooden valley with the
Himaliyan ranges to the North, Shivalik Hills to the South and the
holy rivers Ganga and Yamuna of its Eastern and Western flanks. It
is the one of the oldest inhabited places in India, and situated
at an altitude of 2200 ft about the sea level.
